This was my first painting after a deep awakening and epiphany back in 2009. Free Spirit is all about breaking free from the illusions that bind. Illusions & self belief systems of who we think we are and what we are capable of.
She is free, free of suffering, free of inner turmoil and free of the need to please others. She is alive, dancing her dance, singing her tune and walking her walk.
She is connected to Mother Earth and celebrates this oneness with everything she does.
