Raging Wolves
RAGING WOLVES - Poem based on a dream
A dream I had which lasted all night
Began on a mountain with flashing bright light
From this light wild animals appeared
Full of rage, a site to be feared
Sharp fangs ready to bite
Racing down, full of fright
Entering homes ripping all apart
All were bitten that weren’t from their heart
At first I was afraid of this vicious site
For all around me were tears of plight
I than heard spirits voice from above
Stay dear child, in compassion and love
So I closed my eyes and felt inner peace
Then appeared before me, a vicious beast
A black wolf with razor sharp claws
Tis time of cleansing with natures laws
I gazed at him with love in my eyes
And saw right through, his fearful disguise
Eyes locked but he did not bite
For within me he saw compassion & light
These raging wolves are symbols of strife
That we battle in, our everyday life
Triggers occur to test our space
Of where we're at in this place
Do we battle with screaming rage
And feed the beast within the cage
Do we react in fear or love
Do we trust in Spirit above
These wolves are blessings, oh can you see
That helps transform and sets us free
They bring to surface the darkness inside
That many of us try to hide
They do this with triggers and strife
With many challenges to test our life
Look not at hardships with fear and pain
But how your soul may spiritually gain
So when that wolf attacks and bites
We have that choice to make things right
Understand the lesson, and truly see
That inner transformation, sets you free
So friend he’ll be, instead of foe
He’ll run with you, wherever you go
Always reminding to keep your cool
Instead of playing puppet & fool
I walk with these wolves both day and night
Always reminding me of my inner light
So don’t be afraid of these wolves I say
But trust in love to guide our way...
